your motivation as a tool to navigate career success today
Map your future career path with Ignite
Two experts. One day. One map. Your future career.
Purpose
Each week we encounter many professionals across a number of business
sectors who ask us for advice about their career trajectory, keen for ideas and
tactics yet short of time. The most commonly asked questions we receive are “Where next for me in my current role? How
can I get there? “
Our solution is therefore to compress all our ideas and experience of
resolving these questions into one day of coaching with 10 highly motivated
individuals who want to crack the code to career success. We are very much
focused on delivering a seminar which is focused on you achieving “what next “ and “when “ in your career.
Our plan for the day is to provide a variety of tools and frameworks
which give clarity and insight on how to get on the right career track and
build the motivation to achieve those goals. We take time to listen and
understand exactly the context in which each participant operates best to focus
the coaching on options and goals and how to achieve them. The afternoon is dedicated to developing an
action plan tailored to each individual and his / her own particular
professional discipline, career path and business sector.
We also offer follow up after our session to ensure that you are on
track to reaching your goals as swift execution of your plan is a critical
success factor in achieving your plan.
We look forward to seeing you on the 29th June.

Background and
goals
We run Motivational Career Seminars to provide a unique and
stimulating environment for ambitious professionals to explore the dimensions through which to drive their career success.
The Seminar addresses all the elements of an effective and
motivating career strategy in just one day. It provides time for creativity, practice,
reflection, and action planning with accountability and also a flexible and
interactive environment that adapts to the specific needs of each group of
participants.
It is suitable for all those who want to challenge themselves to
achieve more, those who have ambitions beyond their current role, those looking
to accelerate their career trajectory within their current organisation, looking
for a new challenge altogether or find themselves involuntarily looking for
alternative employment.
Our approach
Motivational Career Seminars are structured around our belief that
exceptional career success and performance is critically dependent on how
motivated we are. Motivation drives
engagement and commitment:
·
Performance = Skills * Motivation
Our seminars will cover all the key elements necessary to ensure
you achieve your goals and potential in your career.
•
Core of career success:
•
We will identify what motivates you at work?
•
We will ‘describe’ what motivates you?
•
We will measure and monitor what motivates you?
•
We will help you design the appropriate career strategy to maximise
your motivations?
Once we have established your core motivations we are able to apply
coaching techniques to ensure you generate your personal career vision and
commitment to your action plan.
•
Goal
• What do you want to specifically achieve?
• What is your goal/desired outcome?
•
Options
• What are your options?
• Create and list as many
alternative courses as possible.
Quantity of ideas more important at this stage than quality/feasibility
•
Reality:
• Where are you now?
• Objective assessment of
current situation. Get clear on
obstacles to overcome/challenges to meet
•
Will/Commitment:
• What are the actions you
are going to take? By when?
• Create an action
list/timetable with deadlines etc.
• What could interfere with
the achievement of your goals
We will also endeavour to combine the skills and experience of seminar
participants to add richness and depth to our outcomes in addition to Sarah and
Simon’s facilitation.

scratch the surface of user psychology, Motivational Maps provides deep and
actionable understanding that can lead to breakthrough improvements."

“I have used quite a lot of psychometric type tests
and found Motivational Maps to be a real eye opener. They helped to validate
the decision I made a couple of years ago to change careers and seek a new path
